| Popis: | The dual role of nitrogen bases is shown in the ARGET ATRP with ascorbic acid acetonide. High pKa bases lead to more ascorbate anion (faster polymerizations) but in presence of oxygen/water are detrimental to the catalyst (hydroxide formation). |
