An interactive computer-aided instruction system for pre-examination exercises is descrihed, aimed at an undegraduate course on control theory. The system uses an item-banking systemm, allowing different programming environments for different exercise items. The correctness of studcnts' problem answers can be checked within certain boundaries: parameters and answers can be varied in different problem instances. ThiS flexibility allows generation of a large variety of problems. For easy implementation of problems, a control toolbox was designed for the authoring system TAIGA, offering possibilities to show control theory related graphs. Further, research was done into usage of the transformation and identification package TRIP. |
