Popis: | Archaeological Consulting Services, Ltd. (ACS) conducted a cultural resource survey of two segments of El Paso Natural Gas Company (EPNG) pipelines to be rerouted across the Gila River below Gillespie Dam. For reasons of safety, EPNG intends to bury the two lines that currently cross the river as bridges. In addition, two proposed staging areas for storage of pipe and equipment during the construction of the rerouted pipelines were also surveyed. The project was conducted at the request of Dr. James George of EPNG to assess whether the rerouted rights-of-way or the two staging areas would adversely impact any cultural resources. The survey was conducted on private land. |
