In this talk I will introduce Bukalapak's strategy to develop our Cybernetics competency and what we have achieved as well as lesson learned during this process. Bukalapak is one of Indonesia's e-commerce platform that enables thousands of small sellers to promote and sell their products online. Bukalapak now helps millions of Indonesians perform millions of transactions every month, driving 2.5% of Indonesia�s economic growth and providing prosperity to millions of small sellers all over the country. Bukalapak's adopted the Agile Manifesto in its innovation process: individuals and interactions over processes and tools, working software over comprehensive documentation, customer collaboration over contracts negotiation, and responding to change over following a plan. Using this approach, in a little over a year, Bukalapak have developed an IoT-based printer for our merchants, a prototype drone-delivery squad, a robo-warehouse system, and an IoT-based vending solution. Together with our university collaborators. Bukalapak also have continued in furthering the science through several research collaborations and publications. |
