Cellulose from various sources is considered as an important material for the synthesis of bionanocomposites. The cellulosic bionanocomposites have high commercial importance and are being used in various industries. Keeping in view its promising features, in this chapter, different sources of celluloses, the preparation of cellulose-based bionanocomposites, and the various modifications have been discussed. In addition, various properties of these materials have been presented. Finally, the commercial application of cellulose-based bionanocomposite is described. |
