Popis: | This paper considers the use of vertical rotor centrifugal and centripetal wind turbines as sources of energy for power-supply systems of railway passenger cars, in addition to as additional sources of electrical energy, such as variable speed alterators that receive mechanical energy from wind turbines, as well as flexible PV panels located on the roof of a car. When calculating the total energy output for the supply of electric energy to consumers of passenger cars, experimental data from literature sources are used. According to the calculations, when alternative energy sources are used in addition to an existing passenger-car power-supply system, electricity consumption can be reduced by 25.5%. |
