Comparative estimates of minimum propagule densities of Aplanopsis and Pythium in soil

Popis:	Direct comparison of population densities of Aplanopsis and Pythium can be demonstrated using a soil fractionation technique. The relative density for Aplanopsis spinosa was greater than for Pythium H.S. group in a drier soil, but not in a wetter one. In both soils A. spinosa was more than twice as abundant as A. terrestris .
