On Numerical Modeling of Nonlinear Theory Equations for Mandelstam–Brillouin Stimulated Scattering in Plasma

Popis: | The problem of Mandelstam–Brillouin stimulated scattering in homogeneous and inhomogeneous plasmas is considered in the approximation of strong dissipation of sound waves taking into account the nonlinearity of the second harmonic and depletion of the pump wave. It is shown that the simultaneous consideration of two nonlinearities in the homogeneous plasma will decrease the reflection coefficient. In the inhomogeneous plasma, taking into account the nonlinearity of sound wave perturbations leads to an increase in scattered radiation and hence, the reflection coefficient even with allowance for the pump wave depletion. |
