Nowadays it is said that current society is the era of industrial revolution in Europe and Japan. It means new society and/or product system which man, machine and environment are connected each other with information such as cloud and internet. In such societies, usage of ICT or IoT devices are promoted for development of the system. However, safety management adapted to the new system has not been well-organized yet. So far, man-machine safety was protected by the principles of isolation and stopping and was evaluated by prior and static risk assessment. However, new society system needs a novel and dynamic risk assessment system. Here, we present and provide a concept of novel safety management system named dynamic risk assessment. |
