Popis: The epitaxial growth of ammonium chloride and ice on muscovite mica and sodium chloride substrates was examined. In order to reveal the electrical properties of the substrates, a covering technique was used; dielectric coats were applied which copied the electrical state of the substrate. It is suggested that the dipoles formed in the muscovite cleavage plane influence the dendritic growth of ammonium chloride.
