Popis:	The large amount of information carried by the seismic signal can only be brought into play for seismic interpretation if geophones are able to follow the movement of the ground faithfully. This means that the bandwidth of the transfer function of the geophone and the ground must be as large as possible. Latest developments in data acquisition instruments open new perspectives towards larger bandwidths.
