Popis: | For eliminating the undesired optical reflection from the intersection of the T-junction photonic crystal waveguide, some improved structures have been proposed. In this paper, we compare two types of T-junction photonic crystal waveguides. An original pattern has two arms vertical to the input port. A modified structure has an insert of a 45°-Y-branch for reducing the backward reflection. We investigate their respective transmission characteristics. |
