Popis: 1. Under semicontinuous casting conditions for ingots of aluminum alloys with additions of titanium and zirconium (together or separately), interdendritic liquation is observed for these elements in the ranges from 0 to 1.3% Ti and to 0.3% Zr, which is not eliminated either by any ingot homogenizing schedules, and it is inherited by worked semifinished products after complete heat treatment. 2. In the presence of both titanium and zirconium there is a change in the stability of aluminum solid solution supersaturated with alloying elements in heat-treated semifinished products. 3. An increase in titanium and zirconium content in aluminum alloys leads to an increase in microchemical inhomogeneity of the solid solution and to a reduction in hot-shortness during ingot casting, although in this way there may be an increase in the tendency toward formation of bright spots, isolated crystals, and a fan-shaped structure.
