Extraction of bioflavonoid mixture from onion husk by subcritical water

Popis: A new method for extraction of bioflavonoids from onion husk using subcritical water is developed. The method is environmentally friendly and more effective than traditional extraction methods using expensive and toxic organic solvents. To determine the quantitative and qualitative composition of obtained extracts, high-performance liquid chromatography combined with mass spectrometry was used.
