Popis: | The microwave dielectric properties of new aluminum-nitride-based microwave absorbing ceramic composites for use in vacuum electronics and particle accelerators are studied in the 0.5-18 GHz frequency band. The various physical mechanisms contributing to the dielectric loss and dispersion are identified. Thermal conductivity values in these materials are also reported, which in several of the formulations rival those of BeO-SiC composites. |
