Popis: Laboratory studies were conducted to evaluate the influence of four commonly used insecticides on the longevity and fecundity for three subsequent generations of green peach aphid. Aphid individuals were collected from Maddba, and Deir-Alla as two field populations..The sensitive populations was collected from far away valleys in um-Al-Ammed on the wild mustard and then reared in a greenhouse in Jordan University for ten generations. All strains were reared on pepper plants to be used in the longevity and fecundity experiments. Results indicated that calypso showed a significantly positive effect in tern of increasing the longevity and the fecundity for the three subsequent generations of green peach aphid, while Karate was significantly reduced the longevity and the fecundity of the aphid. Evisect showed a little increase of the fecundity but there was no effect on the longevity of green peach aphid in each generation. The influence of Dimethoate on the fecundity and the longevity of green peach aphid was higher than Evisect, and lower than calypso for the three generations. In the discussion, several recommendations have been suggested to avoid resistance of the green peach aphid for insecticides.
