Popis: The increases of soil moisture content is a landslide disaster harbinger phenomenon. The attenuation constant of the radio wave increases with the soil moisture content. This study aims to realize the soil moisture content estimation by calculating the attenuation constant based on a measured received signal strength indicator (RSSI) of 920 MHz band radio waves. This paper shows the result of the preliminary experiment of the relationship between the attenuation constant of radio waves and soil moisture content.
