Popis:	Self-organizing feature map and some questions that challenge our attention in its application to cluster analysis on technological innovation ability of enterprises are expatiated on. Taking the middle and large-sized industrial enterprises in Henan province as an example, this paper elaborates on how to assign a value to each parameter in the learning algorithm of self-organizing feature map and programs directly using the toolbox of MATLAB software. The conclusions reveal that self-organizing feature map is appropriate for the cluster analysis on technological innovation ability of enterprises.
