Popis:	1. A study has been made of the velocity field in the space above the bed in a model reactor for butene dehydrogenation, with four different designs for the distributor device. 2. On the basis of this study, a distributor design has been selected so as to ensure a uniform velocity field in the catalyst bed; the described distributor device is recommended for commercial butene dehydrogenation reactors.
