Popis: Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) is a technique commonly used in extracting the maximum power from a photovoltaic panel (PV) under different weather conditions. This paper introduces a system that extracts the maximum power point (MPP) under fast changing irradiation, the Fuzzy Logic Control with Perturb and Observe algorithm (FLC-PO) is compared with two conventional methods, classical perturb and observe (P&O) and Incremental Conductance mppt (INC). The simulations are performed under Matlab/Simulink™ software, the obtained results are very satisfactory, the proposed system (FLC-PO), demonstrates a good robustness and performs outstandingly under fast irradiance changing conditions compared with the P&O and INC methods.
