Popis: A thermodynamic analysis of the distillation process was carried out based on criteria determining the minimum amount of heat and work required for the process. The presented analysis makes comparing the effectiveness of various methods for the separation of multicomponent mixtures and establishing optimal conditions for implementation possible, within the chosen method.
