FDTD Analysis of Offset-fed Wideband Slot Antennas

Popis:	In this paper, finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method is used to analyze the reflection characteristics of three wideband slot antennas – the basic designs for S and C-bands, and a directive design for the C-band. The input impedance and corresponding return loss responses are computed. Near-field plots of the slot antenna are generated to identify the operating mode. FDTD results are compared with that from commercial simulation tools, and are in good agreement.
