Popis: | The tungsten wire used as incandescent coils in light sources requires extreme high-temperature creep resistance. After uniaxial thermomechanical treatment it fulfills these requirements. The heat treatment of the wires causes the spheroidisation of the elongated potassium filled bubbles with vanishing anisotropy in the small angle scattering patterns. The tungsten wires from different stages of the heat treatment were measured by small-angle neutron scattering (SANS). We have followed the morphology changes of the potassium bubble inclusions inside the tungsten matrix. |
