Popis: | This paper started as a response to the "Black Lives Matter" campaign in the USA, and emerged as a critique of race more generally in technology design. This paper provides case studies of how technologies are often less usable by persons of color, and contextualizes this in light of intersectionalist theory. Finally, it discusses how the HCI community can ameliorate the situation, and our obligation to do so in light of the ACM code of ethics. |
