Popis:	A review of 17 consecutive patients in whom deep venous thrombosis of the upper extremity had developped was conducted. The major causes identified were related to thoracic outlet syndrome and venous catherization. Venogram was necessary for the diagnosis in two patients. No pulmonary embolization occured. Thirteen patients were treated by low-molecular-weight-heparin complication.
