Popis:	Object database benchmarks have tended to focus on raw performance and the manipulation of in-memory graph structures with small objects, suggestive of engineering applications. However, the increasing use of object databases for multimedia, financial modelling, healthcare applications, etc. requires new performance metrics to be developed. This paper proposes a multiple-case study approach to developing application-specific benchmarks.
