Simulation on HVDC Actual Fault and Analysis of Simulation Reliability

Popis: A local equivalent HVDC transmission system model is built in this paper. Two actual faults of in converter station are simulated successfully by use of the HVDC simulation model that is basically identical with actual control and protection system. And then, a complete evaluation theory of simulation error is proposed. The comparison has been carried out between the simulation results and the fault recordings. It is proved that the simulation results of existing models are almost as the same as the fault recordings, and the models of simulation are precise and reliable. The simulation model of HVDC transmission system which has been found can reflect operation characteristics of real network exactly.
