Popis: 1. Use of complex hardening of high-strength cast iron makes it possible to reduce the wear of a coupled pair of components and to improve their break-in performance. 2. The maximum increase in cyclic strength of high-strength cast iron is achieved after preliminary cyclic saturation with nitrogen and subsequent diffusion chromium plating. 3. Treatment of high-strength cast iron in accordance with a scheme consisting of nitrogen saturation (cyclical) + diffusion chromium plating + deposition of nickel-phosphorus coating + heat treatment at 200°C leads to an insignificant reduction in cyclic strength; in this case, however, increased wear resistance and satisfactory break-in performance are retained.
