Popis: It is universally accepted that a good night's sleep is important for individuals to feel refreshed and energised. However, some patients struggle to achieve sufficient amounts of good quality rest, which can adversely impact their health and well-being. This chapter considers the physiology of sleep, its role in disease and provides patient-centred advice about how to improve sleep quality and quantity.
