Popis: A collection sample of charoite rock from the Murun massif (Russia) was examined. Based on the textural and structural features, it was concluded that the sample comprised two charoite generations: the earliest one, so-called “block”, and the second one, “schistose-goffered”. A small amount (1–2 g) of each phase was used for sequential X-ray diffraction, X-ray fluorescence and FTIR absorption analyses. The obtained results allowed us to reveal some crystal chemical features of the early and later generations of the charoite specimen under study.
