Popis: The covid-19 pandemic has fully impacted the brazilian health system in terms of socioeconomic and syndemic aspects. This article synthesized evidences on these topics, based on the PRISMA-ScR (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic and Meta-Analyses - Extension for Scoping Reviews) aligned with the Joanna Briggs Institute guide, in which searches were carried out in july 2022, in the databases: Virtual Health Library, Lilacs, Medline and PubMed. It was evident that the way in which the Brazilian government decided to deal with the pandemic scenario contributed significantly to the deterioration of the country's health situation, since problems related to financing, management and quality of the public and private health system were aggravated by an economic, social and political crisis. 700.000 people died due to the mismanagement of the Bolsonaro Government, which had a denialist, negligent and genocidal stance.
