Popis: Endoscopic calcaneoplasty allows removal of impinging bone from the anterior side of the Achilles tendon, as well as removal of an inflamed bursa [1]. The posterior Achilles incision is at risk for wound breakdown, so the utilization of an arthroscopic approach will reduce the size of the incision and hopefully reduce the risk of wound complications. The prone position is preferred [2, 3].
