Popis: While nineteenth-century theatre in British Columbia has been extensively studied, the more varied and rich theatrical history of the twentieth century is less well explored and not fully appreciated. Today, theatre is province-wide and multicultural, many actors are professionally trained, and children’s theatre flourishes. Yet few plays are set in the province, and regional theatre does not necessarily have a regional identity.
