Popis: | Dyadic wavelet transform is suitable for enhancement and edge detection of images since it has a shift-invariant property. Especially, spline dyadic wavelet transform provides excellent enhancement and edge detection techniques because of the smoothness and compact support of box-spline functions. This paper gives a sufficient condition for constructing spline dyadic wavelet filters, and designs some of them under the sufficient condition. Fast dyadic wavelet transform having these filters is applied to enhancement and edge detection of medical images, which helps the diagnosis of illness by medical doctors. |
