Influence of layer-by-layer rolling texture on the plasticity of a weld joint of sheets of molybdenum alloys

Popis:	An attempt was made to determine an indirect criterion of the plasticity of the weld joint of molybdenum alloys revealed in inspection of the properties of the welded sheets themselves. The possibility of use as such a criterion of the parameters of the crystallographic structure formed in the sheets in rolling was investigated. A correlation was established between the degree of layer-by-layer nonuniformity of the texture of molybdenum sheets and the plasticity of their weld joints.
