Popis:	Internal fixation of talar neck fractures is clinically efficacious efficacious but technically difficult. Intra-articular screw placement and unstable fixation often result. The posterior approach allows stable screw fixation with good compression perpendicular to the neck fracture. Although unfamiliar to many surgeons, the approach can be safely accomplished with minimal dissection. The posterior approach is the preferred method of fixation in certain talar fracture patterns.
