Popis: | The configurations of a four-prism attenuator that provide a compact construction and greatly simplify its adjustment and assembly are considered. It is shown that the most successful configuration is a four-prism configuration with pairwise parallel working faces, for which the direction of propagation of the beam is preserved. This provides an intermediate beam for monitoring the polarization and attenuation factor of the incident radiation when calibrating the attenuator. |
