Popis: | We have measured the electrical resistivity ρ , thermoelectric power S, and thermal conductivity κ in single-crystalline Ce 1 - x La x Fe 4 P 12 . La-substitution by 1% destroys the energy gap, suggesting that the coherence among the Ce-ions plays an important role for the semiconducting behavior. Within the investigated concentration range, the maximum power factor S 2 / ρ is found to be 21 μ W cm - 1 K - 2 at room temperature. |
