Popis: | Holography is a technique that enables us to permanently record three-dimensional (3D) colour pictures. Owing to their sub-micron structure, holograms are remarkable safety devices that are very difficult to counterfeit. Dot-matrix technology, which is one of the commonly used methods, is a substantial obstacle to all types of fraudulent activities. This kind of hologram is mainly used for the purpose of protection against forgery of cheques, cards, passports, etc. Such a high-resolution technique also enables the engineering of 2D and 3D structures, potentially leading to the construction of metamaterials. In this paper, we describe high-resolution holographic structures obtained by dot-matrix devices of novel construction. |
