Popis:	To analyze the structural changes in the economy of the regions of Ukraine, the trends of increasing territorial imbalances, to formulate directions for balancing structural imbalances, the development of innovative activities in the regions. Method. Research Methods: Integral, Indices, Formalization, Modeling, Economic Analysis. Scientific novelty. The recommendations of the use of new mechanisms at the state and regional level to achieve a balance in structural imbalances and the development of innovative activities in the regions are proposed. Practical significance. The results of the study and recommendations are included as proposals for the draft “State Strategy for Regional Development for the Period until 2027”.
