A seven-month-old Hispanic girl was referred to the pediatric emergency department for evaluation of acute onset of supraventricular tachycardia. Physical exam revealed an extremely agitated infant with inconsolable crying, tachycardia, tachypnea and hypertension. Toxicologic studies of urine were positive for pseudoephedrine.
