Doping effect of tellurium on the crystallization kinetics of Se[sub 95]Pb[sub 5] glass

Popis: Se95Pb5 and Se70Te25Pb5 chalcogenide glasses are prepared by conventional melt quenching. Chalcogenide glasses containing Pb are very important material for tunable radiations in the mid infrared region. DSC thermo grams of these glasses are taken at different heating rates. Activation energy of crystallization is calculated using Kissinger method. The value of (Tc - Tg) are also calculated. Using these values the stability of the system is discussed.
