Popis: Publisher Summary Crew Resource Management (CRM) proliferated from the USA. Its journey outside the USA was difficult in comparison to Clark Kent's evolution as Ubermensch. This chapter examines how CRM diffused outside the USA in Middle Eastern, Asian, and Latin American groups where front-end flight crew literature may not have been as readily available in the public domain. Three broad areas of CRM influences were selected as important ingredients of the chapter. The first was about perceptions on CRM successes in relation to local operations. The second was about the impact of Threat and Error Management (TEM) on CRM and the third was a “crystal ball” gazing exercise at the future of CRM in the respective contributors' countries. The more the questions veer toward the impact of CRM on established training, simulation, and checking systems in flying operations, the less encouraging the responses. A significant revelation about responses on the future of CRM outside the USA revealed a preponderance of opinion towards local civil aviation authorities and its importance to the continued maintenance of CRM.
