Popis: | The micro-sieve silting principle is used widely for detecting the solid particle contamination in oil on the spot since it has some distinct merits. DW1 contamination tester is a kind of portable solid particle contamination tester with a metal micro-sieve as its sensor medium. The analysis upon micro-sieve fouling mechanism is useful for establishing the contamination level testing model of the contamination tester and improving the testing accuracy. Based on the fundamental fouling theory of microfiltration, experiments of fouling exponent analysis are carried out at the DW1 contamination tester with a 10 μm-sized metal micro-sieve to study its fouling mechanism, and the fouling mechanisms are also analysed with the blocking mechanism models. The experimental results show that the whole oil contamination testing process at the tester is in the initial blocking moment of the micro-sieve, and the blocking process can be described by one mechanism, which is the standard pore blocking. |
