Popis:	When monosodium glutamate (MSG) was administered ad libitum in the diet or drinking water at levels of 45.5 g/kg and 20.9 g/kg respectively to weanling mice, no hypothalamic lesions were induced. Plasma glutamate levels were doubled by feeding MSG at 10% (w/w) in the diet.
