Popis: | Sound velocity and attenuation measurements were performed on polycrystalline samples of the stoichiometry YBa2Cu3Ox and (Y1 − yPry)Ba2Cu3O7. The values of the bulk modulus and the Poisson ratio and their temperature dependences are affected by oxygen content and the praeseodymium substitution. For both systems a thermally activated relaxation process was found and analyzed. Effects of the sound velocity at the magnetic phase transition of PrBa2Cu3O7 at TN = 16K were observed. Measurements of the transverse sound attenuation and velocity in ceramic (BiPb)2Sr2Ca2Cu3O10 superconductors were performed with and without a magnetic field. The dynamic of thermally assisted flux flow and a depinning transition of the flux line lattice were studied. |
