Popis: A microscopic method for determining the coefficients of a fourth-order boson expansion of the Hamiltonian is used to obtain angular momentum projected states, their energies, and electric quadrupole properties. A Tabakin potential is used in applying the method to the even-even Ba isotopes, $A=130\ensuremath{-}138$.
