The influence of subgrain boundary migration on modeling of the response to stress change in creep

Popis: The composite model of plastic deformation is extended so that the variations with time of the volume fractions of hard and soft regions are taken into account. This is made possible by considering the contribution of subgrain boundary migration to the total strain. It is shown that the extended model can describe successfully the anomalous transient effects observed after an abrupt change in stress, as well as the accompanying changes in substructural quantities.
