Popis:	Processes of adaptation of diverse groups of the population to the market have a special significance under conditions of the economic reform. The social price of economic changes, their pace, and their effectiveness will depend ultimately on how these processes unfold. The following serve as measures of social adaptation: (1) an individual sense of social well-being, and (2) the degree to which the individual feels subjectively assimilated in market structures.
