Popis: A numerical model MIKE2D is implemented in order to simulate the suspended matter concentration in the Bourgneuf Bay. A quite coarse sediment cover and three hydrodynamic agents are taken into account: tidal currents, swell and local windgenerated waves. This model makes it possible to represent the North/South gradient of turbidity observed by satellites and the rapid changes of turbidity measured on the tidal flat.
